Medical Qigong, one of the four branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is the oldest energetic healing modality of TCM. Medical Qigong Therapy works with balancing Qi (energy) through breath, posture, movement and meditation, to both support well-being and to correct chronic imbalances that have resulted in dis/ease.
Medical Qigong Therapy both assists personal growth and aides in the development of your healing skills. Transform your life as you practice Qigong exercises and meditations. Learn to give and receive powerful healing treatments. You will learn many techniques to enhance both professional practice and self-care strategies. Studying to be a Medical Qigong Practitioner is a step-by-step process that integrates theory with practical experience and helps you become a skilled practitioner of Chinese Energetic Medicine.
This 300-hour Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP) training program is open to all health care professionals, practitioners of Ayurveda and TCM, yoga & Pilates instructors, massage therapists, energy workers and those interested in Chinese Energetic Medicine. The International Institute of Medical Qigong (IIMQ) offers a multi-level certification program designed to teach theory and practical application of Medical Qigong Therapy.
The Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP) training program with Arlene Wilkinson, RMT, MMQ (China) is a 300-hour program comprised of online/ in-person trainings & clinics, handouts, recordings and audio downloads. In addition, there are readings, clinical practice, exam and homework assignments between seminars with a practical and written exam for the completion of the certification.

No prerequisites for the MQP #1 seminar. Completion of the Practitioner level Medical Qigong training program leads to both Therapist and Master level programs of study.
Medical Qigong Teacher Training (MQTT)

This 200 hour program will certify you to teach Medical Qigong classes and coach individuals, as well as, begin your journey working with life-force energy (Qi). Develop techniques to cultivate Qi, & learn to balance body~ mind~ spirit.Qigong is one of the most powerful systems of self-healing & is a safe and effective tool for health promotion.This online program includes: 4 modules of training, home study, clinical hours and testing to attain certification.

Integrative Acupressure Therapy (IAT) is a holistic modality that integrates Chinese Energetic Medicine with Aromatic Plant Therapy, two ancient energetic healing modalities. IAT works with balancing Qi (energy) through breath, BodyMind awareness and healing plant therapy, along with a powerful acupressure release technique.
This hands-on modality uses gentle yet deep direct finger pressure on acu-points (energy centres) to release tension, reduce pain, increase self-awareness, and re-establish energetic balance. BodyMind awareness helps release both physical and psychological armouring. IAT is characterized by non-invasiveness, safety in touch, and a sense of harmonizing your Qi (energy).
